Introducing DTL Paddle Wars: Our First Season of Competitive Team Pickleball
Grab your paddle and rally your competitive spirit for DTL Paddle Wars! We’re bringing something brand new to our courts: coach-led team pickleball. This six-week team competition is open to players of all skill levels.
How it Works
Paddle Wars is built around teams, and every team will have a designated coach leading the charge.
- Register by Wednesday, September 16th at 10PM. Register as an individual to be drafted onto a team.
- Draft Day is Thursday, September 17th. Registered players will be drafted onto coach-led teams. Weekly matchups will be set based on player availability and skill level.
- Weekly matchups on Saturdays at 4PM-6PM, starting Sept 19th. Teams earn points for every line they win, building toward the finals on October 24th.
Season Schedule
All matches will take place on Saturdays, 4-6PM, followed by Happy Hour to keep the competitive energy going!
- Week 1: September 19
- Week 2: September 26
- Week 3: October 3
- Week 4: October 10
- Week 5: October 17
- Week 6: October 24 FINALS
What’s Included
- A team shirt, included with registration
- Happy Hour deals at our Cross Court Kitchen & Bar
- No DUPR scores recorded, so you can play hard and lose without worrying about your rating
- A shot at the team trophy and custom DTL glass mug for every player on the winning team
- Winning mugs get filled with free draft soda or beer immediately following Finals
Registration Details
- Members: $150
- Non-members: $180
- Deadline: Wednesday, September 16 at 10PM EST – no exceptions since draft day follows the very next day
- Sign up as an individual; teams are formed by DTL coaches
- 1 week cancellation window applies
